Super exciting news! I said yes to World Race and now I'm fundraising for August 28th which is the date that I leave for the mission trip/study abroad. I will be doing journey school through World Race and we are going to a lot of cool countries! We will be going to Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, and Australia. While we are there, we will be doing evangelism, orphanage ministry, kids ministry, an Anti trafficking ministry, and more! I am so thankful for the Lord for giving me this amazing opportunity to serve him. I've thought of a lot of things to do after High School but even when I thought of taking a gap year to travel and serve the Lord, I never thought of World Race. To be fair though, I didin't really know much about it. That is until my friend Sarah told me about it and I'm so thankful that she did because now I'm going on the World race!

Never in a million years would I have ever imagined going to 7 different countries on a mission trip, yet alone going to Japan! Japan is a country that I've always wanted to go to and the Lord saw that and provided. I can't believe that I'm doing this after high school!

However, As exciting and cool as it is to visit Japan and a lot of other Asian Countries and Australia, that Is not what this trip is about. It is about seeking the Lord. This season has been really hard for me with rejections from schools. There was one in particular that I really wanted, and was very discouraged on finding out that I didn't get in. I really questioned God and wasn't sure what he had for me and I still get that question at times. On this mission trip/study abroad I really want to learn more about myself, who God says I am, and who God is. I want to grow closer in my relationship with Jesus and reach others while doing so! I know that God is so good, through the good, through the bad, and through the confusion and questions. Even though there's a lot that I don't know and don't understand, I trust that the Lord has what's best for me. I'm so excited to serve the Lord and reach others for Christ!
